Our History
Fishing in Costa Rica is a worthwhile experience. We've had a long way to offer our customers a wide range of services.
September 2000
Our owner, Captain Hidalgo, became interested in fishing when he bought a boat near the coast.
May 2002
We caught the largest snapper of the season - 15 pounds! This happened by pure luck near Manuel Antonio.
May 2005
We started individual guided tours in Quepos as we wanted more people to experience fishing in these spots.
June 2017
Hidalgo Sport Fishing was launched. Now we have different types of guided tours around Quepos.

How to Go on Fishing?
We offer tours all year round. Our boats can accommodate up to 10 people, so don't forget to book your tour in advance.
Step 1. Contact Us
Call us or simply fill out the contact form, and we will get back to you as soon as possible to choose the best tour for you.
Step 2. Book a place
As a guarantee of the reservation, we ask our clients for an advance payment of 50% of the total amount.
Step 3. See you at the dock
Our guide will meet you at the Quepos Marina and take you to the boat, provide equipment and accompany you on an exciting trip.
Safety and Responsibility
All of our tours are 100% safe both for adults and kids.
All our motor boats pass all the necessary checks. We guarantee your safety on board. We have a license for tourism services and fishing.
